1-800-Take-Your-Time-I-Don't-Have-A-Life

I hate 1-800 numbers. I particularly hate 1-800 numbers when it comes to dealing with a bill or the DMV or something in which you have to take care of and the only "fastest" way of doing it is call.

I called one of my credit card places today to get rid of this extra "crap" of $9.95 a month for credit protector or whatever it was and another fee that wasn't necessary. When I called the company I get this guy and he asks me for this 4-digit password that apparently I set up. Well I had no idea since I set that up over a year ago and they said it was probably a friend's last 4 digits of a phone number. I didn't know so he transfers me over to another woman and she gives me a hint. Well after she gave me the hint I figured it was my own phone number. So I got it and then she asks how she could help me and I told her I wanted to take this stupid credit protector and this other thing off. So she was like I can't help you I will send you over to this department. So I talk to the next woman and she said I had to call this number and I was at the point of "Are you serious?" So she sent me to the next woman who took care of one of my problems. So I got rid of one extra charge. So I called the other 1-800 number and I ended up reducing the fee rather than take it off because these damn operators want to sell some kind of product and saying no is almost not an option, like the other day.

Another one of my credit card companies called me a few days ago and offered me some stupid product and it was like $2.99 a month. I said no and she kept pressing me on it I'm like fine. It's free for 30 days so as soon as I get that packet I'm calling and canceling. What part of "NO" don't you understand? I decline extra fees on my credit card, just let me pay it off enough so I can use it again for crying out loud.

I hate calling the DMV or financial aid at my school for a reason. They put this stupid music on and have some guy/gal say "Sorry, please hold while we are waiting for the next available operator" literally every 5 seconds. I want to say "No shit I am on hold, and why don't you make it easier for your customers to get through? I'm sure the company makes enough money to hire more people" I especially hate some music, I have literally almost fell asleep waiting for someone.

Holloway is a Hideaway

News in Holloway Case

I am not surprised that that original suspects were arrested again. Why they waited so long I have no idea. I think at least one of them is completely guilty and the rest are accomplices. Since they haven't found the body (she has to be dead unless they hid her away some how) is I don't think she is anywhere near Aruba. After looking at a map and I'm not sure of how far they looked, but I wouldn't be surprised if she is anywhere near Mexico. I noticed a couple of rivers and streams not far from the island, and a good possibility is that they sent her downstream (or upstream depending on water flow.)

There was a really stupid quote that I saw in this article: "The questions they asked were so obvious, things like, 'Why did Joran leave his shoes on the beach,'" she said, referring to the place where her son said he kissed Holloway alone before her disappearance. "I think it's ridiculous after two-and-a-half years to be doing this."

Hmmm lets see here. One I think your son had something to do with it and lets just think about this here. He left his shoes because one he probably drowned her and sent her down (up) one of the rivers and water in your shoes bogs you down. Secondly, he also could've left them because its easier to catch someone with shoe prints than it is with footprints. Its harder to get footprints because you would have to match the foot and because its on sand the imprints of your foot pattern won't go as well as say the patterns on the bottom of the shoe. The prints on the bottom of the shoe would run much deeper. Duh.

I guarantee that if they find her body, that she was definitely raped. The fact she had alcohol possibly in her system would make me believe her guard was somewhat down. Drugs were probably used somewhere in there. There is also drug trafficking in Mexico, so there might of been some exchange in there too. The shoes off gives me suspicion that either she was drowned and put somewhere or she was sent down the river in a boat or other device.

Since this arrest recently happened, I can guarantee definitely one of them is going to jail for life. I think there is going to be another break as in someone is going to leak information of her whereabouts. More people in the case is highly likely and possibly new suspects. I think a lot of supposed "dead ends" are actually going to be leads.

We shall see. This is just some guesses I made based off the story.

Just an update and other things

First and foremost I will apologize to my readers as I have been really sick the past few days. A lot has been going on since Thursday. Today's blog is going to be all about what has been happening the past few days.

On Thursday I woke up very sick, but forced myself to go to my two classes that day. I was getting better at first then I got much worse. I went to see a comedian and I left four times during his act unfortunately. He was really good. The comedian that was at my school was Tiny Glover. During his performance he picked on one of the workers who isn't exactly the most intelligent. The comedian joked around with the worker and said "Aww, is the smoothie place closed" (Which technically is supposed to open all night, but the Wood's Cafe workers don't necessarily follow the rules.) The worker just turned his back on him and Tiny looked at him with his big bug eyes. Then Tiny goes, "Can I get some food? Have any desserts over there?" (There's a small glass case of desserts.) Worker: "We have some pie, but it's only three pieces." Tiny: "Really? I thought there was a whole pie I guess some people ate it." Then Tiny says, "I can see you working for the police department. I see a body, it's limp, cold and bleeding. I think it's dead!" The worker just kept ignoring Tiny and he was making these funny faces and we were busting out laughing. Then after Tiny is about to move on the worker goes "Why did you want some pie?" And Tiny replies "Man, I am a fat man, what do you think?" Tiny was a good performer, maybe next time I can stay for the whole show.

Friday I woke up very sick, and I skipped all my classes. I called out of work. That night I had a weird conversation with a kid who I never really talked to in high school and I haven't seen him or talked to him in 5 years. So when he drunk im's me it was just weird and funny. We talked for over an hour and he didn't want me to leave.

Saturday I worked at the wrestling tournament at my college. It was the Doug Parker tournament where there were about ten colleges give or take. I was the tapper for the ref so I would wait until the last 15 seconds of the match and say "5,4,3,2,1, Time!" and tap the ref. During the time I was there one of the coaches from OSWEGA was giving the ref a hard time because the opponent didn't have his coach. He was being a complete dick head to the ref. Then a coach for WNEC talked normal but the minute he started yelling he sounded like an old black lady screaming at kids. It was funny I was trying so hard not to laugh.

Then I went to work at Stop and Shop and worked there too. Nothing too interesting there, it was pretty busy though.

Sunday I woke up sick again and was like that for about 3 hrs. I started feeling better at work, but then I got sick near the end again. I barely ate anything all day. In fact, I barely ate anything for the past few days because of this whatever it was I had.

This morning I woke up fine for about 20 minutes then I got sick. I walked into class late and I pulled my teacher aside (because we were taking a test today) and said I'm going to the health center and I guess I'm taking the test after break. I went to the health center and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. So I set up an appointment with my main doctor at home, although as of right now I haven't had any more incidents since then and I've eaten a lot more today than I have the past four days. I went to get an oil change and my car was acting funny on my way there so I had them check it out. It is fine to drive home but I have to get about a $700 job done (according to them, I may get it for much cheaper with my mechanic). So after that I called my mechanic and gave him a heads up that I have a job for him to do. So I'm really nervous about driving home tomorrow. As long as I can get it home I can care less what happens because at least I know places and I can get things done where I feel comfortable.

So that is why I haven't been writing, on top of sleeping off this thing whatever it is/was. I won't know until tomorrow if I'm out of the woods because my problems usually start first thing in the morning. I have to say I've had no other incidents and I'm really happy I can get things done without running to the bathroom every five seconds. I am mostly packed for tomorrow all I have to do is grab last minute things throw it in the car and drive home. I have a few big papers coming up some of them will be easy others won't be so much.

One last comment for the day. I heard the most racist comment ever by a guy who I think just didn't think about what he was saying. The head chef walked over to the pizza section and noticed the pizza was really brown. He turned to the guy who made it (who is African American by the way) and goes "What are you trying to do make the pizza African-American?" I was in shock. I have no idea what happened after that because I walked away. But I was pissed. Who says that?

Whoops, you wanted me? Oh well...

I did a big boo boo today. I put an ad on Myspace looking for a guy. So I get this IM, and he's talking but not much. Usually if your trying to meet a girl you'd at least talk and ask about the other person. So he added me on Myspace and I was looking at his pics and I thought he was really ugly. So while I'm talking to a friend of mine I copied my conversation with the guy and sent it to my friend. She said the colors weren't that great so I tried copying it and change colors. So while I was doing it I accidentally sent him the copy of our convo. Read below what happened:

All I have to say in my defense is that he deserved it because don't assume I am going to sleep with you the first time we meet. Not only that but I thought he was ugly. And I didn't like the way he was talking to me there and waiting forever for my response. I was going to send it to my friend but not because she was being nosy. Here's her response:

Say What?!?!

I woke up this morning to this IM from my uncle:
IM :Just wanted to flash a quick hello. I was in a fender bender accident yesterday (not our fault). I immediately remembered the one you and Caleb were in!

Ah yes, I remember that car accident. The day after my birthday, my 17th birthday, July 20th 2002. Spent most of the time at the DMV with my cousin and uncle, and after picking up sandwiches at either D'Angelos or Subway, we got gas and were heading back to my cousins' place. As my cousin was driving his crappy El Camaro that he was going to fix up I noticed he was not paying attention and I said "Hey, are you going to stop?" as he was nearing a green Ford Explorer waiting to turn. And because my cousin had an old car with no ABS brakes he slammed into the back of the SUV. Inside the SUV he hurt a woman who couldn't speak much English and apparently recently had surgery on her stomach and when we hit the steering wheel went into the surgical spot. The little girl with her was okay. We ended up at the hospital on our own, and they told me we would be fine. And my cousin Caleb went ballistic the rest of the day. That car accident was the one that nearly put me out for the last season of football for me because a week later I was having issues with my shoulders. I ended up in physical therapy for about two months and missed most of the season, pretty much not able to participate because of the potential to do more harm to my shoulder.

I will have to ask my uncle what happened later.

Another thing someone said to me today was that I was 16. Uh no, I was 16 like 6 years ago thanks.

The worst thing ever said to me was by my ex-boyfriend. My ex Frank, Jon and I were talking to this security guard one time and my ex decides to say loudly for no apparent reason "Do big girls take big dumps?" I looked over at him and hit him. Who the hell says that? And naturally as he said that two hot guys walked by laughing in hysterics. I could've shot him.

I had a lady in my line once who thought I was 32, had 2 kids, taught at a school and working at Stop and Shop was my second job, all because I told her that her kid needed something. Okay sure, I guess? I don't wish I was 32, but I do wish I had kids and I worked as a teacher, but that I didn't have to work at Stop and Shop.

The most hurtful thing ever said to me was by my wrestling coach a few years ago. I started wrestling in college and my college coach wanted us to work with our high school teams during break to stay in shape. Well I went into a high school practice one day, and Coach Galligan was upset by the fact that the guys were slacking off and he wasn't understanding why. So I said something in regards to agreeing with him and he turns angrily and goes "June, you are the worst wrestler East Providence has ever had!" I was like okay, what does this have to do with anything and secondly are you not a head coach? Are you not supposed to act like an adult and your not supposed to insult others in front of your athletes? Its funny he said that because I was wondering how he felt about me if since its been two years since he saw me and I'd hope by now he dropped this hateful grudge against me, but apparently not. He was always an asshole, and technically speaking I could get him fired. After he said that I stuck around for a few minutes and made an excuse saying that I had to work. I didn't have to deal with that man anymore and I told my college coach this. I'm not dealing with a coach who teaches wrestlers to cheat, is hateful and HE is actually the worst coach East Providence has ever had. And I'm not saying it out of spite, it is actually true. If you ever walked into East Providence's high school gym and look at the banners you will notice that EP has not won a state title since the early 1950's. They have been close to state title but have not won yet. I also know the coaches before him weren't that great either. And as far as the cheating goes I only know that because I spoke to my college wrestling coach and he said the stuff I learned in high school is illegal in both high school and college wrestling. So, congratulations Coach Galligan, you rank first in bad wrestling coaching.

I'm sure there is more I could say about the darnest things people have said to me. Too many times there have been instances where I'm left saying "Huh?" or left dumbfounded or hurt.

How Many Licks does it take to get a Dick?

Ladies, you having trouble getting a man? Well no problem, thanks to the internet its a piece of cake. All you have to do is im a guy and ask for his pic. Then he promptly sends you a pic of his dick.

Does this happen to you? It sure in hell happens to me. Men think the first thing I want to know about him is his penis size. I don't give a shit about penis size, and really, I don't give a shit about the penis either, although I hope that they actually have one.

I am looking for a man, a real man, a man that shows me his FACE not his dick first. And I actually want to know who the hell you are. I want to know your favorite color, your least favorite food, what music you can't stand, and what are your biggest pet peeves. How hard is that? Its sad that men do not have the balls (no pun intended) to show their face in a picture, or show me what they like. Men aren't on earth just for sex, and if you are a man and think that, your an idiot. Oh wait, I have one of those friends, and as much as I love him, he is an idiot.
I know men aren't big on talking, but rather than showing me your dick, why don't you show me things if you don't want to talk?

So many men over the years send me these pictures of their dicks, and one of these days I am tempted to take every single last one and make a collage and put their name and screen name and whatever they have and say "Here ladies, feast on that!" Then put the collage as my main facebook or myspace picture.

I just got another pic of a dick today, and I was like thats it I had it. Be a man. The manliest thing a guy could do for me right now is flex some muscles or show a pic of them winking at me. That would be hot.

Dicks are overrated; and save those for the strip club, not for meeting a woman. Thank you!

Do You Speak American? Si, hablo Americano (Ingles)

Do you speak American?

I was sitting in HEL class today, or History of the English Language, and topic of the day was "Do you speak American?" And of course "American" is not a language but rather "English" is the main but not the official language of America. During a discussion the question was asked by my professor "Have you heard anyone say that its great our country is diverse in language?" And like the typical Springfield College "I'm a white rich kid who has lack of knowledge of the real world" response was no they haven't had any experience, except me of course. I said something that I got compliments from the Hispanic population; because I ran into situations where a question was asked in Spanish and I understood what they wanted and replied. A couple of instances was in the past few months, one time I was working and a woman said in Spanish to her daughter that she needed sugar or azucar in Spanish. I replied that it was in aisle 10. The old Hispanic woman in the wheelchair turned and looked at me with a smile and was like "You understood me?" and I said "Of course." She was so happy she was telling her family in Spanish that I understood Spanish and they nodded in approval.
Another instance was in Walgreens, where a woman waiting in the pharmacy said "Hace frio" and I said "Yea, it is cold in here." Again, she turned and smiled and said "It's great people like you understand us" and she told me she picked up Spanish off the streets of Springfield.
The funniest moment with my understanding of Spanish was in the Eastfield Mall where I was shopping and hearing this guy about my age talking about a party he went to and I understood that he said something about some crazy girl and putting her number in his cellphone. Since there were a few words I didn't understand I turned to him and I said, "What did this girl do to you again?" And the girl that he was talking to about this she said "I thought you understood us because you kept smiling over there" So the guy tells me in English that he went to a party and this lesbian hit on him and put her phone number in his phone. He told me that if he saw her dressed as a woman (She was dressed like a dude that night) that he would have no problem "hitting that". He said he still has her number. Then he said that he needs to be careful talking in Spanish because apparently there are white people who understand Spanish.
So anyway, after I gave an example of one of my instances, some smart ass in my class goes "Well, unlike June who understands Spanish, I always feel if they are speaking Spanish (or another language) around me that they are making fun of me." And some of my other classmates agreed with him. Which is sad, its sad that people think just because they are talking in another language doesn't mean they are making fun of you. Sometimes they are having their own private conversations, and granted maybe they are making fun of you, but the chance of that is slim to none. Usually they are talking about something they see, or a personal issue they are talking about. Sometimes they talk that way because its natural to speak their native language, it may have absolutely nothing to do with you.

So, do you speak American?
I do.

The Crazy Things Guys Do in the Name of (I wish) Love

This blog was originally going to start with this article, but it got sidetracked a bit. I've been in some pretty crazy relationships and met some of the darnest men. I'm still single and I wonder why. The men I want is not what I get. I had a conversation a few weeks ago with El Keter about some of these crazy men I've been with. So here we go.
A few years ago there was this customer that came through my line at work during a really horrible storm. It was so crazy to the point there were customers literally down every aisle in line to buy stuff. In retail terms "We were slammin'!" He flirted with me and gave me his number. So I went to meet him about a week later and man was he nuts. He was literally emotionally bonded with me the first day we met. He was trying to play the guilt trip in forcing me to be his girlfriend. Some of the things he told me and things he did freaked me out. One of the weirdest things was having a "cock ring". And if that wasn't bad enough, he had a dog sleeping with him in the bed. I don't mind dogs, but not on the bed, like at all. He gave me a ridiculous amount of candy and gave me a Tweety Bird. He would call me tons of times, and he was really overbearing. He finally got the message after a month of harassment I had to put up with. He was very childlike in his manners and he was in his late 20's.
Another guy Shawn I nicknamed the stalker guy. Reason I say that is because one of the first English classes together (at college) I mentioned I was a former wrestler. So was Shawn. So after that class he would wait for me outside of every class I had after that. We talked and stuff, and I kissed him a few times, but I was really turned off by his extremely sloppy clothing, unshaved beard and gnarly hair, and this lingering smell that smelled like I can't describe but bad. After a while I finally said something to him in a very nice way to clean up so to speak. So the next day I go school and I see him clean cut, dressed neater, and with cologne (which still didn't get rid of the smell.) I was pleasantly surprised but I still was not attracted to him, even though he was nice to me. I did buy him some sweaters, and he gave me a ring with a heart on it, but still. No spark. He was a Southern boy, and naturally of good hospitality. But nothing happened.
Then there was Napoleon. He is still a good friend of mine despite the drama. Let's just say its hard to date a guy you never met who lives several states away. He was nice and attractive but no matter how many letters you send, the phone calls you make and the gifts you give, doesn't make the distance closer. We only saw each other twice. He came for Valentines Day in 2004 and he was going to bring me roses but he left them on the bus. It was very disappointing for me and still hurts to see other people get roses because of this. Although I am quirky and got my weird ways and some non-traditional thoughts I would love nothing more than to get a dozen roses on Valentines Day at least once by a gentleman I am in love with or going to fall in love with. I love traditional things at least once in a while, like kissing under mistletoe (which I'm still waiting for someone to meet me there), roses on Valentine's Day, and being surprised by a romantic gesture on my birthday (again waiting for both to just magically happen). The second time we met I drove all the way to the Bronx, got lost and he was in a bad mood the whole time. I even slept in my own car with him instead of finding a place to stay. It was not a pleasant time, and I kept finding myself doing things for him and not feeling the least bit appreciated or getting something in return.
Then last but not least, there was this crazy dude Chris I met at Alumni Club in Springfield, MA. Jon and I were downtown when we met up with this guy Chris who was trying to tell me he was an actor and whatnot. I was drunk and he kept spinning me around and I felt like I was going to puke. His cell didn't work so I wrote his email in my phone and emailed him later. About a week later he came to see me at Miss Springfield College Pageant (and no I really am not a girly girl by any stretch of the imagination) and he ended up crashing at my place for the night. We sent a few emails back and forth but I never saw him again. Just before I performed he gave me a sandwich, apple, milk and a juice with utensils in a bag and a couch-like ring box when I opened I found this poem:

"June The Great."
For a laugh to be directed
towards the area of a poem,
the one who belches the laugh
should reflect the intelligence of an imposter.
You see june,
the real deal is what you are,
beautiful within and without.
One gets jealous you see,
when the one being blessed is thee.
Sweat not what others may say or do
Remember Shakespeare
To thine own self be true.
In the end,
when you return home,
the sun shall set,
and rise another day
Fret not concerning the bets of others
let not their lack of comprehension,
for something exellent
compel thee to think of thyself
Nothing other than great.
June, as you prepare to win it all,
let me say this.
Great you are already.
A woman needeth not an award
to truly know that she is great!
It taketh not an embroidered trophy,
to proclaim to the world her greatness.
Its one thing, and one alone,
the heart that rests
within the confines of her chest.
June today I shall see thee
Not just as a beauty queen upon a stage,
Not a person striving to be great
But one who has already succeeded
at this mysterious thing we call life.
Strife does build up within us all.
We rise,
and we certainly fall.
In the end
what shall we be called?
Forget not this my new found star
Great is the depths of thee
As the ocean blue
You shall in this life go very far
Great is thee not after a win
Great you already are: )
June the great,
I see you for the person that you are
Greatness exits within us all
throughout our rises
throughout our falls
Let it out June
for the world to see
You are, "June the great."
Inevitably
Sincerely,
Christopher "Chrazy Blue," Desmarteau

Yep, this is the type of men I get. They are weird and don't stick around long. Thats not what I'm looking for. But this is the hand I have been dealt with for a while. I am looking for someone who takes care of himself and somewhat normal. And romantic would be a plus.
